Keating Committee will be meeting Tuesday Sept. 4th, 2001 at the bottom of
the Union.

I will not be available to attend (I'll be babysitting my son). Kalyn will
take my place as committee Chair for this meeting.

I encourage all of you to review Keating's record as Governor and direct the
focus of our demonstration, not on a single specific issue, such as SQ695,
but work towards a collective illustration of how these issues are symptoms
of a reactionary idealogical current that has consistently introduced and
supported regressive legislation which continues to centralize economic and
political power in the hands of a right-wing minority. Think globally and
act locally, as the saying goes.

Sincerely,
Josh
