From OURMedia member Mitzi Waltz:

Dear list members
I´m passing on 3 job listings from the university where I work with
an encouraging word to anyone who might be tempted to apply. I´m
hoping that the 2nd position will be filled by a *journalism*
person (hint hint) with a community media agenda--we are a friendly
team and would like to find someone who is research-active or would
 like to be

The associate dean position needs to find someone as good as the
person who is leaving (Sue Thornham whose books you may know). New
media is a gowing area for us.

For those who don´t know where Sunderland is we are on the
northeast coast of England, closer to Edinburgh than to London just
south of Newcastle.  Foreign applicants are welcome--I´m from the
US and others in our school hail from India, Pakistan, Canada,
Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and probably a few other places as
well. Like  Glasgow).

Anyone who wants to know more can drop me a line via email Mitzi
 Waltz, lecturer in journalism.
