Greetings and welcome back!

 

First, please forgive multiple emails since several of you are on more than one of my email lists.

 

We will continue to hold discussion groups this semester, but in a reduced format. I will lead a “brainstorming” meeting on Thursday, January 27, 2004, room 220 Ellison, 3:30 PM. Agenda is to generate a list of items that you’d like to discuss or guest speakers you’d like to have for the Spring semester.

 

On Thursday, Feb. 3, 3:30 PM, we’ll convene in the Library (Bizzell Library 149-D), for hands-on orientation to WebFeat, Article Linker, and Current Awareness. This was requested by several of you after library staff attended one of the December discussion groups.

 

Dates for discussion groups for the remainder of the semester are as follows (first Monday of every month):

 

            All times are 3:30 PM, location is Ellison 220 unless otherwise noted:

            March 3

            April 7

            May 5

 

Agenda items and reminders will be sent out the week before. Topics will be generated at the January 27 meeting. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks.
