I am writing to ask your help in disseminating information about a
Lecturer in Public Relations position we have open in the AEJMC
Accredited Department of Communication at East Tennessee State
University.  The position is still open and we are continuing to review
applications.  We are seeking more applications from women and
minorities.  This is an annual, non- tenure-track position, with
benefits, renewable up to three years.  Would you please let your
members know about this opportunity as soon as feasible in any fashion

East Tennessee State University is seeking a lecturer, beginning Fall
2005, to teach basic and advanced courses in Public Relations,
Journalism and Advertising, provide academic advising and professional
career counseling to students, make substantial service contributions to
the department, and serve as adviser to the student SPJ chapter and as
assistant adviser to the PRSSA chapter.=20

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in a mass communication
discipline, at least five years experience at the account executive
level or equivalent in public relations, and substantial experience in
newspaper reporting/editing. Preference will be given candidates with
teaching experience in mass communication and advanced degrees. This is
an annual, non-tenure-track position, with benefits, renewable up to
three years.=20
