The Rice Combo, a favorite of Mr. Chris Huffer, is playing
at the OKC Ballroom Dance Club, located at the OKC Swing Dance Club, 4361 NW
50th St, Suite 400
Oklahoma City, OK 73112. Candy Boone is teaching foxtrot from 6:30 to 8,
and then there will be dancing to the band beginning at 8. The cover for
OU students is $5, $10 for non-students. All ages are invited.
If anyone is interested in carpooling (and these days who
isn’t) let’s meet at the Union next to the jukebox. Any
suggestions on time? We can leave at 5:45 to make the lesson or 7:15 for
the dance only. I’m open to suggestions, as my car is not working
well these days and I’d like to get a ride myself.
