RECORD NUMBER OF SENATORS SIGN LETTER SUPPORTING NWP ––
Forty-four senators signed the Senate Dear Colleague letter, thanks to all of your phone calls and emails. The number of you who worked on this effort and the intelligent ways you approached your legislators paid off with the largest number of signatures we have ever had. Everyone in the NWP network benefits from these signatures. Even if your legislators did not sign, your calls brought NWP to their attention. Please take a moment to email your senators and say “thank you.” Elected officials don’t often get thanked so they really take note of an appreciative message. And to all you, an especially big thank-you.

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR 2006 NWP E-ANTHOLOGY ––
It’s time to plan your site’s participation in the 2006 E-Anthology. Early registration gives directors and summer institute facilitators time to review resources and make plans to integrate E-Anthology into their summer institutes. Sites must designate an e-facilitator to register the site and serve as the main contact throughout the project.
