Call for papers

 

Women's Health Issues invites manuscripts that report the results of original research related to the following topics:

 

·        Prevention, including cervical cancer prevention

·        Changes in Medicaid affecting women's health

·        Genomics and women's health

·        Obesity

·        Lesbian health

·        Care coordination and patient-centered care


Women's Health Issues is the peer-reviewed, bi-monthly, multidisciplinary journal of the Jacobs Institute of Women's Health of the George Washington University.  The journal publishes research related to women's health care and policy and is dedicated to improving the health and health care of all women throughout the lifespan and in diverse communities.  The journal seeks to inform health services researchers, health care and public health professionals, social scientists, policymakers, and others concerned with women's health.

 

Women's Health Issues is indexed in leading services and is available online at www.journals.elsevierhealth.com/periodicals/whi and at www.ScienceDirect.com.  Author Instructions are available at www.jiwh.org.  Please note that the journal uses APA Style.
