Nancy- I have it settled with Jean (she is very quick to respond to email). She is arriving on Saturday @ 11:00. I have nothing Saturday a.m., so I am happy to pick her up. I just don't know if it is easy to park and go into the airport, or easier to cruise until she comes out. I have her cell phone number and she has mine, in case there is a problem. I am at the Comfort Suites, too, so we can go by there on the way to the Hilton to get her checked in. So, I think it is all set, unless someone else wants to pick her up and maybe tour her around CS? I wouldn't be very good at that. dh -----Original Message----- From: SCCPLA - SCC Planning Committee [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Nancy Burford Sent: Monday, September 11, 2006 12:44 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: Session 2 update order When I last heard from Jean (on the 5th), she was working on travel plans (she'd asked about shuttle service from Houston). She will be at the Comfort Suites, as the Hilton is, I am told, filled. As president, you should get to introduce the VIPs. I need to email Jean to find out when she is arriving. I volunteer to pick her up at the airport, unless someone else wants to. When I find out her schedule, I will compare to my schedule and let you all know if I am free at that time. dh -----Original Message----- From: SCCPLA - SCC Planning Committee [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Tim Mason Sent: Monday, September 11, 2006 11:36 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: Session 2 update order I agree with Deb on the order. Who should do the introductions? I can do it, unless, Deb, since you organized this part, would you like to do it? I don't remember who did them last year and they weren't listed in the program, but in previous programs they have been listed. Tim >>> Deborah Halsted <[log in to unmask]> 9/11/2006 6:37 AM >>> Nancy- I am not sure about the political issues of who goes first, but I suggest: Jean Shipman (MLA Update) Bill Postell (SCAMeL Update) Renee Bougard (NN/LM SCR Update) Does anyone see a problem with that? Also, Nancy, don't forget the accent over the 1st e in Renee's name. (I am assuming this is for the program.) dh -----Original Message----- From: SCCPLA - SCC Planning Committee [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Martha Bedard Sent: Friday, September 08, 2006 4:18 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: Session 2 update order Deb Halstead is coordinating that unruly bunch :-) martha >>> Nancy Burford <[log in to unmask]> 9/8/2006 3:53 PM >>> Hi all, Could the person responsible for obtaining the speakers for the updates session please send me the order in which they will appear and also who exactly will be giving the updates?
