MAC Members,
Just three days until the December 20th deadline for abstracts for the
AEJMC Midwinter Conference in Reno, NV. We have some great reviewers
who have set aside some of their winter break to review your
research-in-progress abstracts.
Also, we are taking proposals for keynote panels that will have BROAD
appeal to those from the dozen AEJMC divisions participating in this
conference. I recall in 2005 when the conference was hosted by Kennesaw
State, we had a panel on state of journalism in the wake of several ethics
violations. Last year at Bowling Green State, we had a keynote
panel on community journalism and one on community jorunalism.
I think we're due for one that is "teaching" oriented. I will submit
all panel proposals to the conference host committee where the final
decision will be made.
In the meantime, the Call for Papers can be found
