Hello everyone,
There are several things that I need to update you about, so
I’m trying to do it all in one email.
- You may or may not be aware
that the OU student email system
has been down since about 6:00 PM yesterday. At this time we do not know
when it will be restored. Please keep this in mind as you address
deadlines/extensions with your students.
- Because of the snow days last
week, we have extended the deadline for
the online course evaluations (Fall 2006 Norman
and Tulsa
online courses) to 5:00 PM on Friday December 8. Students were emailed
early afternoon yesterday, but we are unsure how many of them checked
email before it went down at 6:00. If you have the opportunity, please
encourage your students to complete the evaluation.
- Finally, the online course discussion group meets this
Thursday, December 7 at 3:00 PM in Ellison Hall 220. The topic
for the meeting will be copying your D2L courses over for next semester. We’re
working on a “tips” sheet that we’ll be handing out at
the meeting. If you can’t attend and would like to receive a copy of
it, please let me know and we’ll see that you get one (we can send
to you via email).
I hope everyone is hanging in there through this busy time
of year. Let me know if we can assist you in any way. Thanks.
