We love to dance, you love to dance. . . it's only natural that we dance togehter at least once a week, no? Who: The Sooner Ballroom Dance Club and You What: Beginning Nightclub Two-Step, Waltz, and Salsa lesson, Intermediate and Advanced lessons in various other dances. When: Beginning Lesson at 6:30pm, Intermediate at 8pm and Advanced at 9pm Tuesday, March 6, 2007 Where: Will Rogers Area, OU Student Union food court, 1st floor Why: To HAVE FUN! Brief directions to the Will Rogers area: -From the union's main entrance on Asp, come through the doors, down the 4 steps, turn right and walk past the bookstore and Wendy's. -From the Parking Garage, talk the ground floor entrance or the elevator to the ground floor, go down the ramp into the foodcourt area and it's on your right. Seriously, you can't miss it. Sadly, Henry will once again be out tomorrow. He eagerly awaits a time when work and/or the occasional bug will not keep him away from class, but until that day comes, Kelsey and I will continue to share the duty of teaching the beginning lessons, Candi is covering the intermediate class, and John Swick will, once again, be back for dancing of the advanced variety. Again, the floor is mostly carpet, so DO NOT WEAR SHOES WITH HEAVY TREAD. Sneakers and other rubber soled shoes also give way too much traction, and shoes with no backs (like flip-flops) tend to fall off your feet. Pick something with soft, smooth soles and nice, firm attachment to your feet. If you can't find anything in your closet that fits that description, just remember that SOCKS make up for in functionality what they lack in elegance. :-) See you tonight!
