Just to clarify, the 6:30 lesson and 8:00 dance are two separate events in the same venue.  September is the Viennese Waltz & Polka month for the Oklahoma City Ballroom Dance Club, and they're hosting the 6:30 lesson, so the lesson will cover Viennese Waltz & Polka :), this lesson costs $5 for anyone who would like to go.  Separate from that is the 8:00 swing dance event, which is free for Swing Club members (not the same as the OKC Ballroom Club), $5 for students, and $10 for anyone else.

It's a bit confusing sometimes, but it's because the OKC Ballroom Dance Club and the OKC Swing Dance Club are two different organizations, the Swing Club owns the venue, the Ballroom club uses it on fridays for lessons from 6:30-8:00, with a Ballroom Dance party on the 1st and 3rd friday of the month, and the swing dance club hosts parties the 2nd and 4th.

Hope that clears things up a little!

#3) West Coast Swing Night: 6:30 lesson, 8:00 dance party, $5 for students, OKC Swing Club

This is where I'll be this evening. :-}

Every second and fourth Friday of the month, the OKC Ballroom Club has a Swing Practice Party at the OKC Swing Club, located at 4361 NW 50th St, Suite 400 in Oklahoma City. If you love swing, this is the place for you.

It starts with a West Coast Swing lesson at 6:30, and the actual dance party starts at 8. One group is leaving/car-pooling at around 7:30, but I'll leave closer to 6 if anyone wants to go to the lesson (call me if so - my car has four other seats).
