Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish to help develop a program in creative writing in Spanish. Requirements: MFA or Ph.D. in hand by August 2008; evidence of excellence in teaching and demonstrated potential for outstanding scholarship and creative publication. The successful candidate must be able to teach creative writing in Spanish as well as courses in Hispanic literatures and cultures at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will also enjoy opportunities for collaboration with the Iowa Writers Workshop and Iowa¹s International Writing Program.
