Hey all!

I hope that you had a wonderful winter break and are settling back into your classes.

Just letting everyone know that the next PWSA meeting will be Wednesday, February 13th at 8 PM.

I know that this is different from last semester, but Amy and I had a few conflicts that came up.

We apologize for any inconviences that may have arisen due to this.

We know that no day/time can be perfect for everyone, but we hope to see all of you at the meeting!

 

Also, I thought I would let everyone know that the student-edited journal, Windmill, is currently accepting submissions for the 2008 edition.

Here' some info on that:

 

Students are welcome to submit their work from February 18th - March 28th.


All submissions:

· Please attach a cover letter on the submission. Cover letter should include your name (the name you wish to use for publication), your phone number, genre (prose, poetry or art) being submitted and your email address.

· Do not include name on the work itself.

· Use 10–12 point font. Times New Roman. Double spaced. Black ink only.


Poetry: Three poems max, 3000 word combined maximum
Prose: Two prose (fiction and creative non-fiction) max, 2500–3000 words maximum
Art: 8 photos or pieces of visual art maximum


We ask that the works not include the author's name anywhere on the piece other than the cover letter. When the editorial staff reads your piece, they will see that your name is on there. If the staff member recognizes your name, you might have an unfair advantage or disadvantage over the other submissions. So to be fair to you and the other writers we ask that you put your name on a cover sheet not on your work. Also, please proof read your submissions. We especially like it when submissions do not contain any misspelled words. Thank you for your interest. We look forward to reading your work!
