Hello, my fine dancing friends!
First, a big congrats to both Sydney and Matt on their very fine teaching in the Beginner's
Class this last Tuesday. They did a beautiful job in handling both the subject matter and the
traditional good-natured ribbing of their friends. ;-) But moving on to this week's Adventures
in Dance Land:
WHO: Sooner Ballroom Dance Club and You
WHAT: Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Ballroom Lessons/Club Meeting
WHEN: Tuesday, Jan 29th, 6:30-8pm Beginning, 8-9pm Intermediate, 9-10pm Advanced
WHERE: 3rd Floor, OU Student Union - the Scholar's Room
WHY: Dancing! Fun! Friendly People! Fun! Dancing! More. . . Fun!
Anyway, for those of you new to Ballroom. . . Every Tuesday night the
Sooner Ballroom Dance
Club (that's us) meets to hang out, have fun, and learn more
about ballroom dancing in club
meetings which take the form of
Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Lessons (with open
dancing in
between), and we also go out dancing most weekends. Our purpose is to promote
and enjoy all types of ballroom and to have as much fun as humanly possible while doing it.
So that's what this e-mail list is for: to remind you of the weekly
lessons, to let you know about
dance opportunities in the area, and to help
us all communicate about our dance plans every
weekend. We're glad to have you with us. Enjoy!
