Attention Improv Fans!
O.U. Improv! players and alums have formed a new improv troupe called Red Dirt Improv.  Information can be found at, where you can also sign up for a separate email list to receive information on upcoming shows.  Our first show is this Friday!  Here is the low down on our summer series of shows:

All performances are at the IAO Project Space at 811 N. Broadway (Historic Automobile Alley, Downtown OKC) . Tickets are $10 at the door and $8 for IAO members. 8pm shows are suitable for all ages. 10:30pm shows are 18 & up. A cash bar is available for those above 21. To reserve tickets for any of the following shows, call (405)7018938 or email [log in to unmask].
The 8pm show is National Comedy Theatre and will be family-friendly. Two teams compete for laughs in high energy improv scenes. There are penalties. There is a referee. And, importantly, the show is clean, so all ages are welcome.  OU Improv! put on a show like this once before in March in the Scholars Room of the Union.

The 10:30pm show is suited for those 18 & above. Red Dirt Improv will prsent a series of comedy performances titled "A Lot Off the Top," an improv comedy show in two acts. The first act features high-energy short-form improv games based on suggestions taken directly from the audience. The second half of the show features a 30-minute improvised play based on Chicago's long-running, critically acclaimed "Armando Diaz Experience." A single monologist shares stories that launch a series of improvised sketches based on a theme suggested by the audience.
Remember, even if you're out of town for our summer shows, be sure to join our mailing list to find out about other exciting events going on off campus.  Just check out the "Contact Us" link on the website and be sure to check in with for info about on-campus shows and community workshops!
