Hello, Stanley
This follows the e-mail below from the OURMedia 7 Secretariat, which also includes the full chain of communication on file with you.
We would very much have wished your experience in Papua New Guinea to enrich OM7, but unfortunately something seems to have gone amiss and your proposal was never received.
Knowing how difficult communication can be, the committee bent over backwards and considered even proposals that were not submitted in the standard form.  Reviewing the files, I note that in your mail of 28 February, you said that "for the time being I send you what I have but I will send you more information with details later."  Regrettably, I can tell you for a fact that the OM7 Secretariat did not receive even that.
Having met you first at AMARC conferences, it would have been a special pleasure to welcome you to Ghana and OM7.  I am sorry that this is not possible but hope that there may be other opportunities to interact in Africa.
Best.
Wilna

Dear Stanley

Thank you for your interest in participating in OURMedia 7.

OURMedia 7 follows the tradition of OURMedia conferences where participation is on the basis of proposals received and assessed.

We have no record of a proposal received from you.  Copied below is the chain of all communications with you on our file.  Prior to your last message of 2 August, the last communication was a message from us on 25 May in response to yours of 19 May when we asked you please to resend your proposal because we had not received it and despite the fact that the final call for proposals had closed.

We are sorry if you have sent a proposal which may have gone astray, but we regret that there is now nothing that can be done to enable you to participate in OURMedia 7.

We are sure that the organizers of the next conference, OURMedia 8, will welcome a proposal.

Best Wishes.

Dear Stanley

We have no record of your proposal.

Could you please re-send your original transmission.

This is very important because the deadline for the third and final call passed nearly two months ago, on 30 April, and all acceptances have already been sent.

Thanks and Best Wishes.
