Sixteenth- and Seventeenth-Century Spanish Poetry and Prose Division


Session 1 Title: Baroque Intellectuals
Description: Submissions about intellectuals in/of the baroque in the Hispanic world.

Session 2 Title: Nobility and Its Discontents
Description: Submissions on patronage, dissidence, class mobility, fealty, honra, masculinity, and related topics.

Session 3 Title: Religion and Religiosity in the Hispanic World
Description: Submissions on piety, devotional practices, missionaries, conversion, ritual, heterodoxy, and related topics.


For all three sessions, please send: 1-page abstracts and short vitae.
