Hi all--
Just a quick update on the upcoming events at Shall We Dance?
First, this Friday the 27th we have our regular party as usual, starting at
7 pm with a group class. But this weekend is a two-party weekend, as
our Swing and Country dance party is on Saturday starting at 8 pm. We had
a good first party last month, so come on out and meet the folks this time
around.
Next weekend we have another two-party weekend, with the normal party on
Friday the 6th; the dance covered in the class will be Tango. Check the
calendar (link below) for the dance to be covered each Friday.
The Swing party will be on Saturday the 7th. It starts with a
workshop from Jeanne DeGeyter at 7 pm, and the dancing starts at 8 pm. The
cost is $15 for the whole evening ($10 for the workshop, $5 for the
party).
Finally, we have new classes starting the week of March 10th.
Monday nights we have an Intermediate class at 7 pm and the Beginner class is on
Tuesdays at 7 pm. See the calendar for the dances to be covered.
We also will have a series class starting, Intermediate/Advanced West Coast
Swing on Wednesdays at 7 pm. As the last three series have covered basic
material, this month will feature more advanced patterns. The series
begins on March 11th and lasts for 4 weeks.
