O. U. Improv! will be performing in this festival on the 18th, but
both nights will have great improv! If you'd like to take improv
workshops, those will also be offered. See below!

Message from Christopher Curtis, Improv Festival Oklahoma Coordinator:

Greetings True Believers!

In a little more than a week, Oklahoma will experience its first
national improv festival--you'll have to see it to believe it! With
troupes coming to Oklahoma City from all over the country, the first
annual Improv Festival Oklahoma is poised to be the summer event that
you just can't miss! On July 17-18, the festival will feature
performances by local groups O.U. Improv, Everybody and Their Dog,
Twinprov and Red Dirt Improv in addition to groups from as far away as
Denver, Austin, and Atlanta!

With two nights of performances featuring a dozen different improv
troupes, the weekend of July 17-18 is going to be jam packed with
improv. Not only will there be 9 hours worth of performances from the
different groups, but there will be a series of workshops offered
during the daytime for novices who want to learn how to do improv
themselves! Workshops are for people of all experience levels, and
only cost $10!

There will be three shows each night: at 7:00pm, 8:30pm, and 10:00pm.
Tickets are $15 for a single show, $30 for the night, or for only $40
you can buy a GREEN PASS that is good for all the shows all weekend
long! You can buy a GREEN PASS online here. To reserve tickets you
can also email [log in to unmask] or call (405) 701-8938. All
tickets and passes will also be on sale at the City Arts Center
begining at noon on the day of the performances.
