*TIME FOR REEL ACTION!*
Get your climate action film out there and have it distributed globally
and in Copenhagen at the most pivotal climate meeting of the century.
http://engagemedia.org/climate-crisis

This December thousands of delegates, decision makers, stakeholders and
activists will converge on Copenhagen. To be part of this EngageMedia is
putting together a compilation of Asia-Pacific climate films to be
screened and distributed at the event and around the world. Submit your
film to EngageMedia and be part of the action. Global action is urgent
and essential - the time for debate is over.

The intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change meeting in Copenhagen on
the 10th of December 2009 will decide on the global course of action in
this time of climate crisis: all communities should be present with a
voice. This will be a time for delegates and government officials to
present their cases but it will also be a whole convergence of media,
campaigners, independent organisations and individuals. You and your
film can provide a voice for so many people that can't be present.

EngageMedia is compiling stories from the Asia-Pacific on climate
crisis, climate action, climate justice and climate solutions. We'll put
the best stories on a DVD and in an online package to be screened and
distributed before, during and after the Copenhagen meeting. We'll send
the final compilation to delegates, media, NGOs and activists. We're
also organising screenings in Australia, the Pacific and Southeast Asia.
If you are interested in organising a screening in your area around the
Global Day of Action in December, please contact us.

By submitting your video to EngageMedia you have the chance to have it
included in the DVD and online compilation. All videos submitted will be
made available on EngageMedia.org in a special Climate section. Most
importantly you will enhance the work of climate justice campaigners and
social movements in the Asia-Pacific and around the world.

*How to Submit*
Sign up to http://engagemedia.org and click the publish button in the
top left. Fill in the details of the film and add the key word
climate-crisis on step 2. When your upload has completed send us an
email at [log in to unmask] so we have your contact details and a
little more information about your film. Videos should focus on the
Asia-Pacific and ideally be no longer than 15 minutes for inclusion in
the compilation, though we accept content of any length on the site.

Deadline for submissions is the 10th of October 2009. The final
selection will be announced on November 1st.
