This has put in place a legal framework for community broadcasting which the Kenya Community Media Network (KCOMNET) has lobbied for for years (Since 1997). You can check our new regulations from our regulator's site http://www.cck.go.ke. The network is still working towards improving policies on community media though especially on licensing issues and sustainability.
