Dear Elizabeth

Greetings from Nepal.

I have forwarded the link of a book : Community Radio Performance Assessment System (CRPAS).  It is produced by Community Radio Support Centre/ NEFEJ. It might be useful. The link is http://nefej.org/pdf/crpa_book.pdf

Hi Steve and All,

Greetings from Kenya. Kenya just passed the Broadcasting bill and it became Law this July, 2009. This has put in place a legal framework for community broadcasting which the Kenya Community Media Network (KCOMNET) has lobbied for for years (Since 1997).

You can check our new regulations from our regulator's site http://www.cck.go.ke.
The network is still working towards improving policies on community media though especially on licensing issues and sustainability.

Best regards

Doreen Rukaria
Coordinator
Kenya Community Media Network (KCOMNET)
