Patricia reminded me of the mob that was present even as early as
6:30 last year. When you are hungry [and thirsty] you don't want to
stand in a long line. We have decided to go at 5:30. (1730) No
problem if you come later but plan on standing in line.

The 2009 Choctaw Oktoberfest is on 9-12 September at Choctaw Creek
Park on Harper Rd. between NW 23rd Street and NE 10th Street in
Choctaw. It used to be held on the grounds of the Old Germany
Restaurant but outgrew that venue. It is quite an event with
specially imported German fassbier (keg beer) and food supplied by
the Old Germany. There is non-stop German music with singing and
dancing. Even an old Kraut like me feels the event is a real touch
of Germany. Patricia and I plan to be there at 6:30 on Saturday,
Sept 12. If you wait too late, it gets crowded and hard to find a
good seat. We hope you can make it. Cell 209-3725.
