There will be another short PWSA meeting this week.

We need to elect officers.  Somehow or another, we aren't registered with UOSA, so we need to get registered by having officers. 

If you are interested in being an officer, or if you want to nominate someone, 
please come to the meeting.

If you can't make the meeting, let Prof. Chester or me know if you are interested
in being an officer or want to nominate someone by e-mail. 

Officer Positions:
President--Oversees meetings, works closely with other officers in dissemination of information.
Basically, a sheepdog.  This person doesn't have to do everything.  This person must coordinate the doing of things. 
Vice President--Assistant sheepdog--takes over sheepdog duties when President is out of pocket.  We'll have to vote and see if Vice President moves up to President next semester so that there is continuity in the PWSA structure. 
Secretary--Take notes at meetings, send out info. to members, keep notes in the PWSA binder.  Take paperwork each year to UOSA. 
Treasurer--Can be combined with Secretary's position, if so desired.   Keeper of the funds. 
Web Master--Design/Maintain our website.   Can be combined with another officer position, if so desired. 

This is the first step in re-organizing the PWSA.  We'll move forward from here.  

I know this isn't the best meeting time for everyone, so send me some chatter (not on listserv) about good meeting times so we can get more of you involved who want to be.
