Social Media to be well covered at Making Links 2010
The Making Links team have been busy over the last couple of weeks finalising the program for the 2010 Making Links Conference. We expect the conference program to be ready in the first week of October but in the meantime we would like to highlight some of the presentations as part of the "Community Building and Social Media" stream.
Nonprofits need to enhance their knowledge of social media because its an increasingly powerful tool to communicate and to engage with their community.

Registrations for the Making Links 2010 conference are now open. The conference will be held from the 15th to the 17th of November at the State Library of Western Australia located in Perth. Early Bird registration are open for a limited time and represent upto a 50% discount off full price conference registration prices.
Making Links is a conference that seeks to engage interested people, organisations and groups working at the intersection of social action and IT – including community workers, educators, trainers, not-for-profit organisations, people who work with marginalised groups, activists and researchers.
