Applicants must be in possession of a Master's degree. Progress towards a PhD would be a strong recommendation. 

All twenty posts require two-years experience in undergraduate teaching or three-years work experience in the communications field.
The successful candidates will be expected to undertake and supervise research and creative projects.  They will also be expected to perform a variety of administrative duties in the office and on the campus. Many of these duties require good computer skills along with excellent organizational skills. These duties may include attending departmental meetings, completing paperwork and forms, preparing reports for the department and supervisor, attending workshops and professional development trainings, updating student files, performing data entry tasks and serving on various committees at the college.

School of Communication - Universidad de Medellín

Universidad de Medellín is a privately owned,
non-profi t, higher education institution founded in
1950 with the aim of providing an education based
on the principles of academic freedom and rigorous
scienti c enquiry.

In its 15 years of existence, the School of Communication has had 22 graduation ceremonies, with a total of 1,205
graduates. Currently, under the direction of Dean Luis Mariano González Agudelo, the School of Communication has
three undergraduate programs: Communication and Audiovisual Languages, Graphic-Advertising Communication,
and Communication and Corporate Relations.
Additionally, the School has three specializations (a two-semester graduate program): Organization of Fairs and
Contests, Communication Management with Information Systems, and Public Relations. The School also has a
master´s program in Communication.
