Avaaz is looking to hire a Program Associate based in London to help us push for basic public interest media reforms in the UK. They should be creative, strategic, strongly committed to justice and democracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research, writing, organizing and/or campaigning in the progressive movement. Knowledge of media reform issues and influencers in the UK is a plus. This is a three-month salaried position starting immediately with the opportunity to transition into a longer-term commitment in the same or similar role within Avaaz. The work will be fast-paced and require a flexible full-time commitment. This person will be a member of a small international team supervised by a Program Manager based in the United States.
