University of Missouri School of Journalism Strategic Communication Assistant Professor The Missouri School of Journalism is seeking a colleague who will teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels in strategic communication in the areas of marketing research, data analysis, and consumer insights. We invite applications for a full-time 9-month tenure track assistant professor beginning in August 2013. Qualifications: A Ph.D. in marketing, communication, advertising, or related field is required, as well as professional experience. Scholarly research and publication are required as appropriate for a Research One university. Candidates with a background in marketing research at the professional level are preferred as are individuals with expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methods. Teaching Assignment: Teach research methods at the doctoral, masters, and undergraduate levels including in the online master’s program. Teach Principles of Strategic Communication and Interactive Advertising. Teach and advise students in the School’s student-staffed full service IMC agencies.
