Subject: New Medscape Video: Screening Newborns for Critical Congenital Heart Disease

Dear Partners,

CDC and Medscape have partnered to develop a video for healthcare providers that is focused on screening newborns for critical congenital heart defects. Visit http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/780571 to view the video featuring Matt Oster, MD, MPH, pediatric cardiologist with CDC’s National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities and Sibley Heart Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Dr. Oster provides an overview of screening newborns for critical congenital heart defects and discusses information primary care providers need to know about this screening. (Note, you may be required to set up a free account to view the video). We encourage you to share the video with your colleagues.
