When I worked at NASA/Johnson, I took orders from one of the guys who
helped put pieces of LiOH cannisters and flight plan binders (and, of
course, duct tape) together to make CO2 scrubbers. Also, we had a
"scientist-emeratus" in my division who had helped program the lunar
mission profiles. It was truly fascinating to get either of them talking,
and when they both got on a roll together...
