Register Today: Genetics in Primary Care Conference
Dive into the Gene Pool August 9-10, 2013 Chicago, IL

Registration Open for the First-Ever AAP CME Course on Genetics
Pediatric primary care providers are cordially invited to the CME Course, "Dive into the Gene Pool: Integrating Genetics and Genomics into Your Pediatric Primary Care Practice," August 9-10, 2013, at the Swissotel in Chicago, Illinois.

For the first time ever, the American Academy of Pediatrics, in collaboration with the National Coalition for Health Professional Education in Genetics, will present a live, 1 day course dedicated to providing pediatric primary care professionals with cutting edge research, and practical guidance for navigating new technologies and information that will support their early identification and management of patients with genetic conditions using family health history, expert referrals, and genetic testing. Online registration is now open at<>.

Why Should YOU Dive into the Gene Pool?
Have you ever felt like you were missing some pieces of the puzzle when diagnosing or treating patients in your primary care practice? Genetics, genomics, and epigenetics play a profound role in health and disease. By enhancing your understanding of genetic medicine and pediatric genetic conditions - and their impact on every child and family in your practice - you may be surprised by how easy it is to incorporate genetic thinking into your practice and how seamlessly the puzzle pieces then fall into place.

Attached is a PDF of the course brochure<>; please assist us in spreading the word about this milestone educational event. We hope to see you as we Dive into the Gene Pool this summer!
