Dear All,

I am very sad to tell you that our brilliant and generous colleague, Kate Regan, is with us no more. She died on July 23rd. Below is a link to the University of Portland's memorial for Kate which will be held today at noon, Portland time.

Kate was the host of our last conference in 2012, and hosted a previous conference. We all benefitted from her great vision for GEMELA and enthusiastic and warm hospitality. Her efforts on behalf of our society and its members have been greatly appreciated over the years. I believe she will be deeply missed.

We will dedicate time in Lisbon to remember Kate. Please contact me if you would like to say a few words.
