Tenured Professor in Spanish

We are seeking an internationally-recognized specialist in contemporary or twentieth-century Spanish Peninsular literature and culture.  The position is at the rank of Full Professor with tenure.  Associate Professors with exceptional credentials will be considered. The successful candidate will also occupy the endowed Charles B. Qualia Chair in Classical and Modern Languages. A substantial record of publication, teaching effectiveness, and success in securing external funding should be demonstrated.  Service duties include program-building, as well as commitment to extra-curricular activities. Service to the department, college, and university is expected.  Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Appointment will begin Fall semester 2015.
