Welcome to 2015. I hope your holiday and New Year celebrations were safe and enjoyable.
I am so excited to begin a new year with you and the SACNAS community, especially with the momentum we gained in 2014. We had another successful
national conference in Los Angeles, added talented employees to the
SACNAS staff, elected
new Board members, and have begun a refresh of our strategic plan.
But rest assured, while we celebrate our growth and successes, we will also continue advancing. I, along with staff and our newly elected
board, am fully committed to the ongoing evolution and growth of our organization.
I hope 2014 inspired you. Thank you for your personal contributions to making it another successful year. Please join me in making 2015
even better as we work diligently to connect, mentor, and empower the scientists and science leaders of the future.

fact, we’ve already selected our next four years’ conference sites, and we want to share them with you. Let’s start with 2015!

This year, October 29-31, we’re excited to bring the SACNAS National Conference to our nation’s capital, Washington, DC.
Mark your calendars now, because we’ve got great things planned for you.
The following three years’ conference sites are as follows:
2016: Long Beach, California
2017: Salt Lake City, Utah
2018: San Antonio, Texas
