Subject: Summer Research Program in Biophysics
Are you an undergraduate student looking for a unique summer research experience? Are you an undergraduate who would like to get a feel for graduate school and work in a lab this summer? Consider the Biophysical Society's Summer Research Program.

This 11-week program, now in its eighth year, introduces undergraduate minority students, disadvantaged students, and students with disabilities* to the field of biophysics. Hosted by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the program combines lab experience with lectures, seminars, and team-building activities. More than 75 aspiring scientists have already gained invaluable experience through the course.

All fees, housing, and travel costs required to participate are covered, and participants receive a stipend to cover living expenses.

The priority deadline for applications is February 16. Additional details and the application can be found on the summer course website<http://lists.biophysics.org:81/t/31640/9089175/421/6/>.
