Excellent Frances and Meta! I would further suggest: 1: Those who have run
once or twice but were not elected, PLEASE run the next year and the next.
Few are elected the first time they run but many of us feel, "They don't
want me," and stop before we succeed. 2. More of us need to do what Dwight
did on this listserv -- announce their candidacy and others'. You should
do it three times - once before ballots are released, once as soon and they
are released and then again a few days before the election close. Not all
of us read every message or are able to weed through all of our in box.
That will allow more MAC people who want to support division candidates to
do so.
