Dear José:

I am writing to request your valuable assistance to forward this e-mail to the appropriate person at OSU.

We are trying to secure candidates for the summer leadership program for indigenous students that the University of the Americas in Puebla (UDLAP) offers in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy.  This program started five years ago with funding from the U.S. Department of State under the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund and continues to be an innovative initiative that the U.S. Embassy values and supports.

I know OSU has Native Americans in its student body that I think would be interested in this outstanding opportunity to come to Mexico and learn/interact with local peers that face similar challenges and that also have success stories to share.  This year the program will also include students from Canada that will contribute to enrich the discussions.  You know the city of Puebla very well and are aware that it is a beautiful, vibrant city with much to offer culturally and other extracurricular activities.

I believe there might still be the possibility of providing close to full funding to interested students but you/they need to confirm this with UDLAP.

Thank you for your kind assistance to secure potential candidates from OSU.

Best,

Araceli
