« Always willing to help, always positively promotes OWP, always trying to do better what he already does well.
« Jason Stephenson has always been professional and witty, inspiring and prompt. He encourages us to do our best and ends each session with a new idea to spark writing out of our students.
« Jason is a hardworking, dedicated teacher.  He flawlessly led the 2011 OWP Summer Institute.  He did so with poise, professionalism, and patience.  Jason has a demeanor that keeps the climate peaceful during his sessions. He has a way of being adhesive regardless of chemistry within small and large group settings.
« Jason is a leader. Jason is always willing to go above and beyond to make it happen for OWP. He represents OWP with class and distinction.
« Jason believes passionately in OWP and works hard to share that passion with others.
« Jason continues to take an active role in promoting OWP at local, state, and national levels. His workshops are always engaging, insightful, and highly motivating. In addition to his involvement with OWP, he has taken leadership roles with OCTE and other education-based organizations. Jason's enthusiasm is contagious as he shares his love for reading and writing not only with his students, but with language arts educators throughout the state. Jason's technical skills are always delivered in a user-friendly way, and he constantly posts links, blogs, and digital information that benefit teachers at every level. In addition to Jason's professional and service-oriented projects, he is never without his amazing smile. I can think of no one more deserving of this honor than Jason Stephenson; he embodies the energy and enthusiasm that Martha and Frances envisioned when they pioneered the concept of teachers teaching teachers.

Congratulations!
