NWP Colleague, I’ve long been a proponent of teacher-writer, even before I went through the Ohio Writing Project in 1981. I’ve been writing for that audience over three decades now. I thought my latest book would be of interest to those dedicated teachers of writing, so . . .
I’m writing to let you know of the publication of my latest book, Write What Matters: For Yourself, For Others. I’ve attached the beautiful cover that Judy Arisman designed for it. I wrote this book to give a boost to those who want to write but might be hesitant. In the face of so much good writing, they sometimes lose heart.
In Write What Matters I seek to be a writing friend to readers. My hope is that reading my words will hearten them about what they feel and think and have to say, that they might even be moved to put down the book to begin writing what matters in their lives.
The book is available on Amazon. After scores of rejections from agents and publishers (with only one of them reading the manuscript), I took the advice of a friend and published Write What Matters through Amazon’s Create Space. The result is a professional looking book and a more reasonable price than any of my others.
Pass the word, if you will. Your recommendation is my primary marketing tool. Much thanks, and take care.
