Greetings,

 

My name is Brittany Bolt, I am a second year medical student at Oklahoma State University on the CHS campus.  I am writing in regards to the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) Conference that will be held on OSU CHS campus in Tulsa, Saturday January 30th 2016 (8:30am-3:00pm).

 

I am serving as this years conference Chairperson and wanted to take the opportunity to personally extend an invitation to OK-LSAMP students. We have informed the Stillwater campus but I wanted to ensure that you were informed.

 

  This conference is free to students and is hosted by current medical student members of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) in conjunction with OSU CHS Admissions. It is our desire to play a part in enriching medicine through diversity. The conference is ideally for undergraduate students who are considering a career in Medicine. First and second year Student Doctors on our campus have planned an informative and fun-filled day for the future Medical Doctors of the OK-LSAMP program.

 

The day will include:

 

   Continental Breakfast
    A tour of the Medical School
    Insight to a Medical School Interview via Mock interviews by local Physicians
    Lunch with current Student Doctors and Physicians
    Meet and greet with local Physicians
    Anatomy lab demonstrations
    Information on how to apply to Medical School
    Panel discussion with current medical students

And so much more!
