Argonne National Laboratory is seeking highly motivated and energetic undergraduate students interested in an environmental management summer internship. This program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management (EM), provides
students from Minority Serving Institutions an opportunity to conduct research with a focus on environmental management and cleanup.
This 10-week paid summer research experience balances time between engagement with relevant research activities, content driven seminars, laboratory tours showcasing cutting-edge science and technology, career development activities and social events.
To be eligible, students must:

Be currently enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student from a
Minority Serving Institution. It is up to each institution to determine if they are eligible.

Be 18 years or older at the start of the program.

U.S. citizen or Legal Permanent Resident at the time of applying.

Have a cumulative minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Proof of coverage under a health insurance plan for the duration of their internship.
