STUDENT LEARNING OPPORTUNITY

Clinical Trial Programming and Data Analysis

Before any drug is approved by the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) for use in the U.S., it must be tested in preclinical (animal) trials to determine safety and then in clinical (human) trials to determine safety and efficacy. Learn more at http://www.phrma.org/innovation/clinical-trials.
Clinical trial programmers, working with clinical trial statisticians, use SAS® software to write code to analyze data from the trials. There are far more clinical trial programming jobs than programmers. Join us at a new clinical trial programming space, where college students have opportunities to learn and do programming through collaboration with other college students and under supervision of mentors. Enrollment limit: 3 per group. Meet 2 days per week. Fridays at 4 pm and Saturdays at 9 am. Starts Saturday, February 20, 2016. Location: 564 West Randolph Street, Chicago. Administration Fee: $50 per week per student. Resume (in lieu of application) and questions to Philippa Wisseh at [log in to unmask]
. Sponsored by BIOCiS.org.
