Oklahoma Writing Project is excited to offer a summer institute opportunity for educators in western Oklahoma. 

Writing on the Prairie, an Oklahoma Writing Project summer institute, will be held from 8:30-3:00 pm on July 11-14; July 18-21; July 25-28 at the Western Technology Center in Weatherford. 
Teachers of all grades and subjects interested in incorporating writing into their instruction are encouraged to apply. Space is limited to only 12 teachers. A total of 72 PD hours will be earned by participating in workshops, hands-on activities, and research as well as developing a best practice ELA presentation. 
The cost is $300, and the online registration deadline is April 29.
Schools may use Title funds to pay registration fees. Fees may be paid AFTER July 1.
