In case any of you know of students in the Tulsa area or those who can get there daily for a week, this would be an amazing opportunity.

TCC is hosting a one-week STEM Camp this summer. The application deadline is about one week away on May 1^st. Please forward this information out to teachers and high school students you know. Students will get to keep all the supplies, activities and experiments. So, there will be LOTS of incentives for them to keep, such as a tablet, Star Wars BB8 robot, aquaponics unit and catapult.

We are thrilled to announce that TCC will be hosting the Dimensions of Science STEM Camp this summer.

We will be selecting 30 students currently in 9th-11th grades to attend the STEM Camp July 11-15, 2016.

This FREE camp will be held at Tulsa Community College 9am - 4pm.

 

The Dimensions of Science Summer Academy is packed with fun science experiments, hands-on learning activities, stimulating observations and technology exploration to connect abstract concepts to real-world applications. We will focus on activities and careers in STEM. Students will program a robot, build their own aquaponics habitat, explore wetlands, design a catapult and extract their own DNA in a Biotechnology experiment! As students map out pathways to college, they will discover college is not only possible, but an expected and natural step in their education! Dimensions of Science is an exciting, hands-on opportunity to learn more about STEM, the college admission process, and so much more!
