The Department of Chemistry at Syracuse University is pleased to offer several GAANN (Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need) fellowships. These prestigious

awards are funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education and will enable students from traditionally underrepresented groups to pursue the PhD.

The Chemistry Department offers a friendly, supportive atmosphere in which to conduct cutting edge research in both traditional and interdisciplinary areas of chemistry.

 

How To Apply:

1. Send an email to Professor Nancy Totah at [log in to unmask] stating your interest in applying for the GAANN fellowship.

2. Submit an application for graduate study in Chemistry at Syracuse University. Apply on-line at: https://graduateadmissions.syr.edu/howtoapply/

3. Provide evidence of financial need by submitting a FAFSA. You can complete the FAFSA online at: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov

4. For full consideration, all components of the GAANN fellowship application must be complete by March 1st, 2017.
