Dear administrators and professors:

ONA-U 18 is a mini-conference on Sept. 12 geared toward journalism majors and young professionals looking for practical career advice. This year’s conference, held at the Belo Center for New Media on the UT-Austin campus, focuses on the importance of product management in the newsroom and in your career. The sessions will bring attendees together for a few hours of learning, training and networking the day before the main ONA conference starts. Registration is $5 and includes lunch and afternoon snacks.

I know it’s in the middle of your school week, but if you have interested students, please have them register. And please share this email with other professors and schools. Space is limited – we have about 30 spots left.

ONA-U 18 is sponsored by the School of Journalism and Moody College of Communication at the University of Texas at Austin and by the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Texas State University and supported by the TEGNA Foundation.
