Oklahoma Writing Project hosts:
Raising the Bar in Oklahoma Classrooms by using Depth of Knowledge Strategies
The Oklahoma State Department of Education has given these suggestions to schools to improve student achievement.
· Establish teacher work groups on the Oklahoma Academic Standards and depth of knowledge.
· Secure professional learning opportunities on the Oklahoma Academic Standards and depth of knowledge.
· Examine and discuss the Oklahoma Academic Standards Curriculum Frameworks
Oklahoma Writing Project has created a 1-Day conference to reach these 3 goals. Sessions will be hands-on and interactive to allow participants to leave with strategies to immediately implemented in their own classrooms.

(Eventbrite allows schools to order Spiral Bound ELA Standards who may additional copies to take back to other staff at your school. Please pre-order to ensure you can take extra copies back to your school.)
