Subject: NWS Norman Storm Spotter Training

Good morning!

It's that time of year - storm spotter training season. Here's what you need to know about our training this season:
  • All classes are being conducted virtually via GoToWebinar.
  • Here's the schedule: https://www.weather.gov/oun/spottertalk
  • You will need to register at the link associated with each webinar.
  • You will notice that most of the webinars are associated with groups of counties. These will have content that's a little more focused on those specific counties, but all webinars will still be open to anyone in our area. So if you miss the one for your county, feel free to attend one of the others.
  • In past years, some of you have hosted the webinar for a group of people all attending in one location. There will probably be less of that this year, but if you choose to do that, I've attached some tips to help you make it work.
  • We will have one advanced class - Tue Mar 30 at 6:30 PM
  • Feel free to help us promote the training to anyone in your organization or community who might be interested. The training is free and open to all ages.
