I wonder ... the SOTA/POTA crowd seems younger than average to me ... what with having to get up and go outside and all.  

I just found out about a D-STAR HF net on weekends and expect to give that a whirl this weekend on my IC-705 ...  That will be the first time it has transmitted below 70 cm.  ðŸ™‚ I may have to go up to the full 10 W, but we'll see,

Next step is to actually operate outdoors.  ðŸ˜„
